Greetings All and welcome to 2016! By now you should have had ample to read through chapters 1-4 of Emotional Intelligence 2.0. These chapters provided a review of the presentation given at the annual GM conference and will provide the framework for the discussions to follow. Each month we will add another chapter and have an open forum surrounding the activity presented. We will use a free forums to interact with each other. It can be accessed at vinovolo.freeforums.net. When you arrive on the page, you will be asked to register. Use your Vino Volo email and your name as your user name (ex. tristandyerkindy). Each month I will post an activity or question in the forum pertaining to our reading material. I ask that you provide your own response to the question, as well as respond to at least two other peoples postings. This will provide and interesting dialogue with some unique perspectives on how emotional intelligence plays a role in our lives. It is important to remember that we are all at different stages in our emotional intelligence development and that is ok! Let's keep the feedback constructive and kind.

I just received the book a week ago, and hoping to have chapters 1-5 read before I go on maternity leave, but was there a discussion we needed to do for the first 4 chapters? All I see is the question for Chapter 5. Am I doing this all wrong?

Hey Erin, I'm sure Tristan will respond but I thought I might shed some light. At the GMC in Tahoe Tristan went over Chapters 1-4. He started the forum with the idea that we build on those chapters and jump right into chapter 5 as our first discussion on the forum. I would make sure you take the test in the book before you read the chapters (the online instructions are in the back of your book) and see how you score. After we finish the book as a group you can then take the test one more time and see if you have improved! The book reads super fast and it will make a bit more sense once you take the test. Hope this helps. Looking forward to your posts :-) Cheers, Ash

Ok, thanks! I was trying to find the online info and didn't see it. I must not have looked far enough into the back of the book. Thanks again!
